Description du poste

Overview

Insider Tip: This role gives you the whole thing — Accounting, FinOps, FP&A, Strategy — with a front-row seat as the company navigates an LBO and international expansion.

  • Scope: Global - Europe, UK & US
  • Contact: lucas.cebral@fleet.co

We are entrepreneurs at heart: Ambitious, down to earth and honest.

Launched in April 2019, we made the early decision to bootstrap our startup with simple mission: We want to become the leading Device-as-a-Service offer in Europe.

How?

By making the life of every founder, CTO, or IT-manager significantly easier. Equipping your office has never been this effortless - no matter if you are an early stage startup or an accomplished unicorn.

Who?

From entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. Our ecosystem is intertwined with leading VCs, investors, and startups. This is reflected by our team in Germany, France, Spain, and the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Main missions:
    • Drive FP&A and performance management: own and continuously improve monthly reporting (P&L, cash monitoring, key KPIs — growth drivers, margins, CAC, LTV, cost structure). Prepare investor updates and quarterly Board materials. Lead ad hoc deep-dives on pricing, unit economics, ROI, and any question the business throws your way.
    • Build the finance stack of the future: contribute to implementing best-in-class tools (billing, ERP, BI). Proactively suggest ways to simplify, standardize, and automate finance practices. Bring a data-driven and systems-oriented mindset.
    • Drive high-impact strategic projects: beyond day-to-day finance, you will be exposed to a wide range of cross-functional topics — intellectual property and trademark management, international expansion, tax optimization, working capital optimization, governance, etc. You'll never run out of new problems to solve.
    • Improve budgeting and business planning: contribute to strengthening the budgeting and reforecasting cycles, analyze monthly variances (actual vs. budget), and contribute to building the company’s long-term business plan.
    • Own accounting & tax compliance end-to-end: manage relationships with accounting firms across France, Spain, Germany, the UK, and the US — with Italy and Mexico next in line, coordinate with auditors in France, and ensure the quality, reliability, and consistency of financial data across all entities. Supervise tax obligations and filings (VAT, corporate tax, R&D tax credits, etc.).
    • Manage day-to-day operations: supervise customer and supplier invoicing, bank payments, payroll validation, and cash management. Ensure smooth operations despite rapid growth and international complexity.
Qualifications
  • You graduated from a top business school or university with a specialization in finance/accounting.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or audit — ideally in a B2B and/or tech environment (startup, scale-up, or large company with an entrepreneurial mindset).
  • You can cover the full finance scope: FP&A, financial reporting, finance stack, accounting, and FinOps / admin.
  • You understand that speed matters and are able to make decisions under uncertainty.
  • You have a proven track record of structuring finance functions, building reliable reporting, and delivering insights that drive business decisions.
  • You have a strong interest in financial, data and AI tools and are willing to integrate them into your daily workflow to scale the finance function.
  • You thrive with autonomy: you don't wait to be told what to do; you identify opportunities, build a plan, and execute.
  • You are fluent in French and English— Spanish, Italian or German is a plus.
  • Nice to have: you have experience in an LBO environment, fundraising, or transaction services
Benefits
  • Your Chance: The best investment you can make is in yourself.
  • At Fleet, we create win-win situations. Give us your will and ambition, and we will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to an entire ecosystem and a clear path to entrepreneurship. This entails the following:
  • A unique opportunity to shape and own Fleet's voice across Europe and the US, with full creative freedom and real strategic weight.
  • We will offer you a competitive salary and benefits (including BSPCE) within a very dynamic company (100 M€ LBO round closed in 2026)
  • A talented & ambitious team of around 50 people, experienced founders and managers, and a culture where ideas are genuinely encouraged.
  • Strong autonomy and impact from day one: we look for architects, not executors.
  • 50% contribution to public transport costs or sustainable mobility allowance
  • Health insurance with Alan and meal vouchers
  • Office incentral Paris (Saint-Lazare area) with flexible remote work (1 day per week).
  • Team activities: afterworks, team building, and more.
