Qualifications

• 8+ ans d'expérience, incluant un poste de Finance Manager dans une startup tech.
• Solide connaissance des normes comptables françaises et des règles fiscales.
• Compétences en Excel importantes.

Responsabilités

• Préparer Morpho pour la croissance en établissant des opérations financières de premier ordre.
• Gérer les prévisions financières, la comptabilité et les relations avec les parties prenantes.
• Améliorer les processus financiers et gérer la stratégie de trésorerie.

Mission & Responsibilities

As Morpho’s Finance Manager, you’ll prepare Morpho for the next phase of growth and scaling, establishing best-in-class financial operations by:

1. Supporting the business with financial forecasting
   • Own financial forecasting on budgeting & business plan
   • Support teams with their expenses monitoring and budgets, setting up dashboards and tools to assess ROI and make data-driven decisions
2. Accounting and taxes
   • Ensure accurate and timely filing of financial statements, working closely with accountants to reflect activity accurately
   • Collaborate with Legal and tax lawyers on complex crypto-related issues to make informed decisions
3. Process improvement for the Finance team
   • Ensure the team follows best practices and lean processes as the business grows
   • Identify simple, effective ways to increase team efficiency with apps
4. Treasury Management strategy and execution
   • Drive treasury strategy to align exposure with risk profile across accounts and assets (fiat and crypto)
5. Key stakeholder relationships
   • Manage relationships with accountants and financial auditors
   • Serve as main contact for all third-party finance requests

Job Requirements

Must Have Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience, including as Finance Manager or Head of Finance in a tech startup
• Solid knowledge of French accounting norms and tax rules (payroll, VAT, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills
• Proven project leadership and stakeholder coordination abilities
• Business-oriented mindset, viewing finance as a support function
• Hands-on approach, detail-oriented, thorough reconciliation skills
• Fluent in French & English
• Humility and low ego

Good To Have

• Certified accountant or tax auditor background
• Crypto knowledge or eagerness to learn
