Polar Analytics simplifies data so brands can make smarter, faster decisions without the complexity of traditional tools. Powerful yet user-friendly, it gives DTC brands the insights they need to scale profitably.

Our mission? To help indie DTC brands compete and grow—faster and more profitably.

What Makes Polar Analytics Unique?
  • 4,000+ Brands and Growing: We’ve scaled to 4,000+ active merchants (Jan 2025) and are on track for 10,000+ this year.
  • Cutting-edge tech, Built for Simplicity: We leverage the modern data stack to deliver enterprise-level insights—without the need for a data team.
  • Backed by World-Class Investors: We’ve raised $28.5M with Frst, Point9, and Chalfen Ventures, a top-tier B2B SaaS investor known for spotting future unicorns early.
  • A Team of eCommerce Experts: Our team brings experience from leading eCommerce SaaS platforms, united by a mission to build the next industry leader.

At Polar Analytics, Finance will serve as the strategic backbone of our growth, ensuring financial stability while powering data-driven decisions across the organization. As we scale, we're looking for our first Finance Manager who can build scalable processes, drive financial planning, and partner with leadership to fuel our next phase of growth.

Why This Role?
  • Strategic Impact: Partner directly with leadership on critical business decisions, from headcount planning to scenario modeling, influencing the company's growth trajectory
  • Build From The Ground Up: Establish and own key financial processes that will scale with our business, from monthly reporting to budgeting frameworks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with GTM, HR, and product teams to drive business outcomes through financial insights and planning
  • Career Growth: Join at a pivotal moment in our scaling journey with significant opportunity to expand your responsibilities and impact
What's the Scope?
  • Financial Reporting Excellence: Ensure accurate, timely monthly closes and deliver comprehensive reporting packages including P&L, cash position, budget tracking, and key SaaS KPIs
  • Accounting and Monthly Closing: Own the closing process to ensure we keep an accurate and up-to-date view of our finances
  • Process Optimization: Improve cost control and financial hygiene by implementing robust spend policies, tools, and scalable processes for revenue recognition
  • Strategic Planning: Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes while supporting GTM leaders with revenue forecasting and pipeline analysis
  • Operational Ownership: Manage finance and admin-related operations including vendor payments, entity setup, legal coordination, and equity administration
This Job is Made for You If:
  • You Have Startup Experience: You've previously worked in a startup or scale-up finance function, with strong foundations in accounting principles and financial reporting
  • You're Data-Driven: You possess strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills and deep understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics (CAC, LTV, Gross Margin, NRR)
  • You're Action-Oriented: You have a collaborative mindset with a strong bias toward action and a hands-on approach to solving problems
  • You're a Clear Communicator: You can present complex financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders and maintain discretion with sensitive information

We believe in a structured, fair, and transparent hiring process. While the steps may vary by role, here’s what you can expect:
