Philip Morris International invites applications for a Finance Intern role based in Paris, France. You will join the Smoke-Free Products Department as a Product & Portfolio Intern and report to a Portfolio Coordinator.

The internship spans six months and offers hands-on experience across budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing financial data, building models and dashboards, and preparing reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a passion for numbers and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management abilities
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to fast-paced environments
• Excellent English language skills

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
• Provide actionable insights to senior finance colleagues
• Assist in creating financial models and tools to support ongoing analysis
• Help prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership
• Support the development of critical PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial results, forecasts, and insights effectively
• Collaborate with team members on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist in researching industry trends, competitor data, and best practices to enhance decision-making
• Support day-to-day finance tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, or ad-hoc projects
