Job Description:
Your role:
- To organise credit management and accounts payable for the local division
- To prepare a monthly financial report for the parent company in Germany and to be involved in the annual financial statements for the local entities
- To be the first point of contact for local service providers such as Auditors, Tax and HR Specialists
- To work as part of the central corporate tax organisation and be responsible for compliance with national tax requirements and required tax reporting, VAT and Intrastat reporting
- Responsible for human resources, payroll and time management of local staff in coordination with the central HR department
- The successful candidate will have completed relevant training in financial accounting, taxation and/or human resources (e.g. Bachelor of Economics; Tax Specialist; Financial Accountant, etc…)
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in an internationally operating corporate group or a tax consultancy
- The ability to work independently and demonstrably achieve first-class results
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with AS400/SAP migration with perfect knowledge in office pack; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Very good command of the English language; knowledge of German is an advantage
