Job Description:

Our client is a dynamic, global asset management and hedge fund group with representation in Europe and North America. Due to a long-term succession plan, they are seeking to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer to oversee their finance department and play a key role in business strategy.

This role will work directly with the CEO and founders. It is suitable for a less experienced Deputy Head of Finance or junior CFO looking to advance their career, with long-term investment potential.

Ideal candidates will have 7-10 years of experience in senior finance or internal audit roles within asset management, hedge funds, or private equity, with exposure to both equity and fixed income funds being advantageous.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee all administrative, accounting, financial, and tax functions across the group.
• Lead the finance and administration department, managing a team of 2 finance professionals.
• Advise management on financial, tax, and accounting issues.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including transfer pricing.
• Manage relationships with third-party service providers such as accounting firms and auditors.
• Manage cash flow, including monitoring, forecasting, and investments.
• Handle corporate administrative duties and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with the Compliance department to produce financial reports for regulators like the AMF, FCA, and SEC, and respond to due diligence questionnaires.
• Oversee management control and accounting systems.
• Conduct financial and strategic analyses, including modeling and risk assessments.

Skills Required

• 7-10 years of experience in senior finance roles, including experience at an audit or accounting firm and within asset management, hedge funds, or private equity.
• Higher education in finance, accounting, or management (business school or equivalent Master's degree).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with IT tools, including office software, accounting software, and ERP systems.
