Purpose of the role:

  • Serve as the "right hand" and backup for the Country MD, ensuring budget delivery and compliance.
  • Ensure the Local & Group Finance governance and duties are performed and met.
  • Ensure the Opco adheres to local laws, standards (including local GAAP), and Leviat Group requirements (FP&A cycle, compliance/SOX, risk management).
  • Accountable for correct and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate support for the local team (KPIs, customer risk management, cost efficiencies).

Key tasks & responsibilities:

  • Strategic financial leadership: Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the country, and drive execution with the Country MD.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee financial statements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, manage audits, and liaise with auditors and regulators.
  • Cost Control & Operational Efficiency: Analyze production costs and support continuous improvement programs.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management.
  • Investment & Capital Expenditure Oversight: Review applications, assess make versus buy, and lead financial due diligence for M&A.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, coaching and mentoring while ensuring succession planning.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present insights and plans to senior management and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Support SAP implementation process.

  • Background in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience in an audit firm is advantageous.

  • Transfer pricing experience.
  • SOX awareness and business risk management experience.
  • Chartered Accountant or Financial Controller qualification.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • ERP implementation experience is advantageous.
  • SAP or other ERP knowledge.
  • Over 10 years of experience, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
  • Positive attitude, open-minded, and an accessible team player.
