Purpose of the role :

• Right hand” and backup for the Country MD, ensuring budget delivery and compliance.
• Ensuring the defined Local & Group Finance governance and duties are performed and met.
• Ensure the Opco adheres to local laws and standards (incl. local GAAP) and Leviat Group requirements (FP&A cycle, compliance / SOX, risk management, …).
• Accountable for correct and timely reporting
• Co-ordinates the support of the local team (KPI’s, customer risk management, cost efficiencies etc..)

Key tasks & responsibilities :

Strategic financial leadership - Leads the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes for the country. And, after development, drives the execution of these plans, together with Country MD.

Financial Reporting & Compliance – responsible for local Finance, tax & treasury which includes : Overseeing and preparing of financial statements and other reporting requirements Compliance with local and international accounting standards. Managing audits and liaising with both internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies

Cost Control & Operational Efficiency – including production cost analysis, identifying and supporting continuous improvement programs etc.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

Investment & Capital Expenditure Oversight – reviewing applications, assessing make v buy. Lead any financial due diligence for M&A processes

Team Leadership & Development – build and lead a high-performing finance team. Coach, develop and mentor – whilst ensuring effective succession planning is in place.

Stakeholder Communication – present insights and plans to senior management. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, HR and IT.
