Purpose of the role :

  • Right hand” and backup for the Country MD, ensuring budget delivery and compliance.
  • Ensuring the defined Local & Group Finance governance and duties are performed and met.
  • Ensure the Opco adheres to local laws and standards (incl. local GAAP) and Leviat Group requirements (FP&A cycle, compliance / SOX, risk management, …).
  • Accountable for correct and timely reporting
  • Co-ordinates the support of the local team (KPI’s, customer risk management, cost efficiencies etc..)

Key tasks & responsibilities :

  • Strategic financial leadership - Leads the financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes for the country. And, after development, drives the execution of these plans, together with Country MD.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance – responsible for local Finance, tax & treasury which includes : Overseeing and preparing of financial statements and other reporting requirements Compliance with local and international accounting standards. Managing audits and liaising with both internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Cost Control & Operational Efficiency – including production cost analysis, identifying and supporting continuous improvement programs etc.
  • Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
  • Investment & Capital Expenditure Oversight – reviewing applications, assessing make v buy. Lead any financial due diligence for M&A processes
  • Team Leadership & Development – build and lead a high-performing finance team. Coach, develop and mentor – whilst ensuring effective succession planning is in place.
  • Stakeholder Communication – present insights and plans to senior management. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, HR and IT.
