Jobtailor in Paris seeks an experienced Business Analyst to analyze user needs relating to financial management and performance reporting, write functional specifications and user stories, and support testing. You will coordinate finance-related enhancements and ensure data quality across the Finance information system.

The role requires 5+ years in banking finance, strong ALM and risk knowledge, and excellent communication for workshops with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Ideally experience within a Finance Department or banking environment.
• Significant experience in banking finance, particularly in financial management, ALM, liquidity, interest rate risk, net banking income (NBI), or outstanding balances.
• Strong knowledge of banking finance and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of ALM, interest rate risk, liquidity, net banking income (NBI), and outstanding balances.
• Experience analyzing data and data flows.
• Proficiency in writing functional specifications, user stories, and test plans.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
• Strong attention to detail, rigor, and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Understand and analyze user needs relating to financial management and performance reporting
• Help scope requirements and define enhancements to the Finance information system
• Write functional specifications and user stories
• Prepare and execute functional test plans and support business acceptance testing
• Coordinate the various contributors involved in enhancements within the Finance scope
• Provide functional support for the Finance scope
• Identify and analyze data issues with business and technical teams
• Oversee the monthly loading of the Finance database and ensure data completeness and compliance
• Ensure the quality and consistency of financial data transferred to CASA
• Support users and contribute to keeping the Finance information system operational
• Collaborate with business and technical teams and the various contributors across the Finance ecosystem
