HelloI am Sven , Finance Manager at Kayzen, and I am looking for a Finance Associate to join our global team

In this role, Your mission is to ensure high quality support services to internal and external stakeholders by taking full ownership of key operative tasks within the finance department’s realm of responsibility. Furthermore it is to strengthen Kayzen’s FP&A, Controlling, and Reporting capacities by supporting the Finance Manager in Budgeting and Management & Investor Reporting.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Controlling (30%)
Proactively maintain, extend, and improve our management and investor reporting landscape, including:

Cost control and profitability analysis

Cash flow monitoring and forecasting

Preparation of monthly management and investor reports

2. Budgeting (20%)

  • Create ad-hoc reports and perform analysis of historical data as needed to support strategic decision-making.

3. Operations (50%)

Take full ownership of key financial operations, including:

Drafting contract amendments based on provided templates

Managing communication and support for incoming tickets from internal and external stakeholders

Maintaining and regularly auditing our internal customer credit system

What you Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience following a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Excel Proficiency: Strong intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with hands-on experience in building financial models and conducting detailed analysis. Familiarity with PowerQuery is a plus.

Business Acumen: Ability to make strategic, well-informed decisions by understanding how the company operates and competes in the market.

FP&A and Reporting: Solid experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, controlling, and reporting activities.

Operational Agility: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities, high-pressure situations, and a large volume of tasks or requests.

Experience with SQL is a plus.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are an advantage.

Industry Experience: Prior experience working in startups or the Ad-Tech industry is a strong plus.
