Within this department, you will be part of the general and third-party accounting team, focusing on Master Data & Solvency II topics.

The scope of Master Data and Solvency II within the team includes all data and referentials in the Group SAPCopernic (general & third-party accounting) and SAPSHIP (investment accounting) data models, as well as other objects/characteristics used to structure data across various IT systems.

The business specifications for SAP tables are called White Papers (WPs), previously managed on Excel. Since 2015, a new tool called MDM (Master Data Management) is being customized to serve as a repository for WPs and processes, enabling more secure creation and updates of master data.

These master data are used for IFRS reporting (including accounting and management reporting data), Solvency II Pillar 3 Group reporting (including statutory GAAP and S2 P3 GAAP), and local statutory reporting for entities.

The team also maintains and enhances Solvency II reporting based on Copernic data flow.

Your job and daily missions :

Master Data : managing changes and creation requests related to Master Data issued by Master Data correspondents (local AXA entities and over 10 global entities, Group SHIP teams):

  • Performing change testing directly in SAP environments when needed.
  • Ensuring alignment with other tools like Galaxy.
  • Animating the Master Data community and best practices.

Reporting & interfaces :

  • Enhancing existing reports and developing new ones.
  • Collaborating with IT and Business Partner Teams for testing and bug fixing.
  • Maintaining mapping tables up-to-date.

Projects (regulatory changes, innovation, mergers, divestitures):

Roll-ins (new entities on SAP platform): managing localization work:

  • Explaining the Flyer data model and reporting to new entities.
  • Guiding them on the usage of dimensions and reports.
  • Promoting convergence on the Flyer platform.
  • Organizing and managing localization workshops with country correspondents.

Proposing improvements and innovations to existing master data processes and MDM tool reporting to enhance convergence in master data usage.
