Description du poste

Objective: To ensure all outgoing domestic flights have correct products and quantities according to module check sheets and are compliant with United Catering updates/changes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Catering Operations by reviewing modules’ contents to prevent packing discrepancies.
  • Assists Transportation team in verifying paperwork matches module diagrams before departure.
  • Communicates with various departments and oversees processes.

Training Requirements:

  • Food Temp Training
  • Thermometer Training
  • HACCP training
  • OJT

Tools Needed:

  • Flight Check Sheets and gatekeeper report
  • Cold weather gear when working in food coolers
  • Radio
  • List of outgoing flights

Procedures:

  • Start shift by picking up paperwork from the Operations office (Food Production Check Sheet & Gatekeeper).
  • The Coordinator will organize/sort modules in the Cart Chill area by flight number and type (UA and UAX flights) and stage them in assigned areas.
  • Once modules are sorted, the finalist will verify whether the flight is downline and ensure all required goods are provided for each segment.
  • Using the paperwork from Operations, the finalist will verify that all information corresponds with physical quantities and equipment depending on aircraft type.
  • Food temperature checks should be completed routinely to maintain food safety requirements.
  • Upon shift completion, responsible personnel will confirm that all assigned flights are prepared and ready for departure.
