Job summary

ZUMBACH seeks a technically minded Sales Engineer to drive growth in France. This field-based role requires close collaboration with manufacturers to understand challenges, propose Swiss-made measurement solutions and strengthen customer relationships.

You will travel across France (up to 80%), work with international teams, and enjoy autonomy within a dynamic, family-owned company that values initiative and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electronics, automation, instrumentation, or industrial engineering.
• Experience in technical B2B sales within industrial markets.
• Strong commercial mindset with a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory effectively.
• Fluent French and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships throughout France.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, providing both commercial and technical support.
• Identify market opportunities and strengthen ZUMBACH’s position in key industries.
• Work closely with our international sales and engineering teams.
• Represent ZUMBACH at customer meetings, industry events, and international trade fairs.
• Contribute directly to the growth of our business in France.
