Un acteur mondial de l'énergie recherche un Technicien de Services sur le Terrain pour ses applications spéciales. Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable de la maintenance préventive et des réparations des moteurs diesel d'urgence dans des centrales nucléaires. Ce poste exige une forte attention à la qualité et à la sécurité, ainsi que des compétences en mécanique des moteurs. Vous travaillerez principalement en Europe de l'Ouest, avec des missions nécessitant des déplacements fréquents. Qualifications

  • Expérience de 3 à 5 ans en moteurs diesel et services sur le terrain.
  • Connaissance de l'environnement des centrales nucléaires est un plus.

Responsabilités

  • Participer aux tests de fonctionnement des moteurs sous supervision.

Field Service Technician / Technicien Field Services Applications Spéciales H/F

To join our Field Services working for a more sustainable future through Wärtsilä Special Applications activities (nuclear and military scope). This entity is dedicated to the complete services of the equipment which can go up to the reconditioning of the emergency engines for nuclear power plants in the world and the engines of the Leclerc tanks for the French Army.

The preferred location for the position is at Surgères (Charente Maritime), in France. From Surgères, you will be deployed with your team mainly in Western Europe (France, Spain, Belgium, Sweden…). Wärtsilä will be covering the travel and accommodation expenses to/from home location to Surgères plant or Customer site.

What will you be doing

The position is dedicated to the Special Applications (SPA) perimeter of Wärtsilä.

As Special Applications Field Services Technician, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

  1. Perform the preventive maintenance and repair operations on Wärtsilä emergency diesel engines installed in nuclear power plants, under the supervision of an engineer.
  2. Participate in the identification of breakdowns.
  3. Participate in the engines running test under the supervision of an engineer.
  4. Fill in the quality documentation.
  5. Participate in the promotion of Wärtsilä brand.
  6. The missions are carried out while respecting the applicable rules regarding Quality, Safety and Environment, in accordance with the commitment of Wärtsilä.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  1. Bac +2/ Degrees + 2 years.
  2. Bac, Bac pro/ High school diploma degree.
  3. CAP, BEP/ Vocational certificate obtained 2 years after the 8th & 9th grade.
  4. Gained experience in diesel engines (ideally on Wärtsilä products) and in field services (between 3 and 5 years).
  5. English skills (A1-A2).

And ideally:

  1. 3 to 5 years in the technical industrial sector.
  2. Knowledge of engine mechanics (knowledge of Wärtsilä engines would be a plus).
  3. Basic knowledge on nuclear power plant environment.
  4. Spanish skills (A1-A2).
  5. Office software skills.

  4. Mobile (several weeks mission duration).
  5. Active in the improvement process.

You have team spirit and good interpersonal skills.

In this role, travel is required to work at our national and international customers' sites. We hope you to be ready to travel approximately 80% of your work time.
