Job Description

• Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of research and clinical equipment, including training on equipment use.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and repair assistance.
• Ensure the functionality and safety of research and clinical equipment according to current specifications and regulations.
• Write technical documentation and intervention reports.
• Manage car stock and collaborate with sales and applications teams to provide excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics engineering, with extensive experience as a field service engineer, preferably in research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.
• Strong understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics; basic knowledge of natural sciences, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biology is desirable.
• Experience with microscopy equipment (multiplexing, light sheet, deep phenotyping) is advantageous.
• Fluency in technical English; knowledge of IT tools (hardware and software) required.
• Customer service orientation, organizational and planning skills, and ability to analyze technical problems. Willingness to travel regionally, domestically, and occasionally internationally.
