A leading company in analytical instruments seeks a Service Engineer to perform on-site customer support, installation, maintenance, and training for products across France and occasionally other regions. The successful candidate will possess an engineering degree and excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
SPECTRO is one of the worldwide leading suppliers of analytical instruments, employing optical emission (Arc/Spark OES, ICP-OES) and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) technology, used for the elemental analysis of materials in industry, research and academia. SPECTRO is a member of the AMETEK Materials Analysis Division.
The Service Engineer must perform both complex and basic on-site customer support activities involving the installation, maintenance, repair, hardware integration, hardware and software upgrades, troubleshooting, and training on products at customer sites (South and East part of France including occasionally French part of Switzerland and Maghreb) in a timely and cost-effective manner. Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the systems and serve as company expert with customers on administrative and technical matters:
Electrical / Electronic /chemist Engineering education
English spoken and written
Good level of communication/Interpersonal skills (Verbal and written)
Must be self-motivated, able to work alone and with others
Good organizational skills
