Qualifications

  • Compétences en électricité et mécanique requises pour le support sur site.

Responsabilités

  • Fournir un support sur site pour l'assemblage, la maintenance et le dépannage des machines.
  • Former les clients sur l'entretien, l'opération et la sécurité des machines.

Field Service Engineer • Taverny, France

The Opportunity: The role of Field Service Engineer at JBT is a unique one! You will sit within our Protein business and be dedicated to servicing our customers 24/7, including assembly, maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and supporting new projects. Reporting into our Aftermarket Service Manager Mariano, you will work with colleagues based in Scotland and Sweden, caring for our customers across all of our protein machinery.

On a given day, you may:

  1. Provide site support using your Electrical & Mechanical skills.
  2. Manage installations, providing service and visit reports and technical support for our machinery; advise our customers on maintenance, spare parts, and upgrades.
  3. Identify any trends with machinery and share this with your manager.
  4. Train customers on maintenance, operation, safety, and cleaning of the machinery.
  5. Work with our aftermarket team to implement aftermarket activities.
  6. Identify any possible additional machinery and/or service that we could provide our customer - sharing this with our sales team so they can act fast.

Requirements for the role:

  1. 5 years' experience in machine servicing (we will of course consider candidates with less than this).
  2. BTS maintenance industrielle would be a great qualification to have.
  3. Knowledge of the food industry equipment (freezers, fryers, ovens, processing lines) is a bonus.
  4. PLC knowledge of either Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley, MOVEX for troubleshooting, SalesForce and Word/Excel.
  5. Flexibility to travel and work flexible hours – you will work a minimum of 24 weekends a year which include Sat/Sun.
  6. Excellent written and verbal skills in both French and English required (Fluent French please only for this role).

Travel & Location: This role is remote and can be located in any of or between the following areas in France - Le Havre, Paris, Brittany, Saint-Nazaire, and Nantes, due to the geographical location of our customers.
