Une entreprise spécialisée dans les lignes de conditionnement recherche un Ingénieur Service Terrain pour des interventions techniques, des installations de machines et la gestion d'équipes sur site. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une expérience en maintenance et un fort sens de l'orientation client. Le poste implique une collaboration régulière avec les clients pour garantir la satisfaction et le bon déroulement des projets.

Description du poste

1. Interventions at the customer’s premises :

  • Ensure compliance with instructions transmitted by the Project Manager (mission order, customer context, planning, intervention purposes…)
  • Be aware of rights and duties in terms of safety for customers (wearing standard and specific PPE) and comply with specific requirements (safety questionnaire, signature of prevention plan, etc.)
  • Organize on-site tasks with customer to ensure a good project follow-up.
  • Set up daily report of tasks done.
  • Prevent any drift regarding initial planning and propose correction action plan.
  • Ensure a good relationship with customer to lead him toward buying parts and services.
  • Notify the Project Manager before leaving customer’s site.
  • Once back at Serac, provide updated technical document, intervention report, programs back-up, worksheet signed by customer, reception report (depending of mission purpose, updated punch-list and expense report with necessary receipt to the Project Manager.

2. Installation and commissioning of new machines :

  • Participate in the technical definition of project with the technical adviser.
  • Ensure installation and commissioning for Serac machine according to planning set up by Project Manager.
  • Organize and follow-up Site Acceptance Tests with the Customer.
  • Up to date technical data (design, notices, settings…) after Site Acceptance Tests for both Serac and Customer.

3. Main tasks excluding new machines :

  • Carry out preventive and curative maintenance.
  • Carry out technical production assistance services.
  • Carry out maintenance and performance audit services.
  • Carry out and follow-up machine modifications (upgrade, new functionalities…).
  • Install, set-up and commission tooling (bottles, caps…). Complete the tooling follow-up document and give it back to the Project Manager.
  • Carry out modifications on partner equipment (cap distributor, elevator…).
  • Customer troubleshooting by phone or on site.
  • Train on site operators and maintenance team.
  • Manage small team of Field Service Engineer, workshop worker, external company when machine modification occurs.
  • Research spare parts references following customer’s audit.
  • Prepare technician on-site interventions.
  • Participate in the technical definition of complex projects with the project engineer / business manager.
  • Establish the installation and start-up schedule on customer site before intervention.
  • Define the needs necessary for the respect of Serac commitments (human, material...).
  • On customer site, supervise the Serac and partner intervention teams (respect of timing, validation of the interveners' time sheets, etc.). For this purpose, the line manager may request that the Project Manager remain on site for more than two consecutive weeks throughout the duration of the project.
  • Organize the work of the on-site teams in partnership with the client (assign the right person to the right task).
  • Establish a daily report of the tasks performed by each team and on each equipment.
  • Monitor and validate any modifications made to the line equipment.
  • Ensure that the technical documents of each equipment are updated.
  • Daily update the installation and start-up schedule to analyze the time spent on each task.
  • Be the customer's privileged interlocutor and to act as a link with Serac and its partners throughout the duration of the project.
  • Set up a weekly meeting with the client to review the progress of the project and prepare for future tasks.
  • Be able to work on Serac and partner equipment (assembly, power-up, troubleshooting and machine operation).
  • Following Final Acceptance Tests, recover all technical data (diagrams, backups, instructions, settings, etc.) of each piece of equipment for Serac and for the customer.
  • Provide the necessary feedback to project engineers / business managers to ensure continuous technical improvement.
  • Provide constructive criticism of the equipment to improve the Serac service.
  • Capitalize on the experiences lived to improve responsiveness and knowledge of all, in conjunction with the General Manager.

Ideally, we are looking for people based in France, Spain or Dubaï.
