For our Sales department France at our offices in Villepinte, Paris / France, we are seeking an

Field Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

This position will be part of the Display Solutions team in France.

Your tasks

  1. Contribute and support during the sales process for advanced installations
  2. Educate and train the sales team to ensure technical competence
  3. Regional technical support towards corporate end customers and sales channel
  4. Support sales team and partners in tenders which requires technical competence
  5. Main point of contact and interface regarding products / solutions towards the Product Managers in our headquarter in Munich
  6. Close collaboration with the departments Product Management & Solution Engineering in our headquarter, aiming at creating solutions focused on the market requirement
  7. Exercise and share market intelligence for our products, solutions and applications
  8. Strong relationship with customers as well as ECO partners regarding our software and hardware solutions
  9. Support in maintaining and updating the online product information of our products
  10. Technical project management at exhibitions and events

Your profile

  1. Successfully completed studies in (business) engineering, electrical engineering or computer science or and / or comparable completed technical training
  2. Experience in AV and display related technologies
  3. Very good English skills (business fluent in speech and writing)
  4. Very good IT & IT infrastructure skills (PC, servers, switches) as well as IT networks
  5. Solid software skills such as Windows operating systems, Linux (Ubuntu), Android, software distribution, CMS systems and MS Office, and CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
  6. Experience and knowledge in the fields of LED, light and laser technology and microelectronics
  7. Willingness to regular business trips in the sales region
  8. Creative and solution minded approach
  9. Convincing and secure appearance as well as assertiveness
  10. Strong customer focus and sociability and high presenting and communication skills
