Job summary

Perenco, a leading independent hydrocarbon producer, is seeking a Field Engineer to supervise offshore pipeline installation projects across subsidiaries. You will oversee preparation, execution, and commissioning activities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with regular on-site duties in offshore environments.

Candidates should be a mechanical engineer with field work experience, multidisciplinary skills, and knowledge of hydrodynamics and marine operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer with fieldwork experience.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge across engineering domains.
• Hydrodynamics and marine knowledge is advantageous.
• Geotechnical notions are appreciated.
• Pipeline integrity management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offshore pipeline installation campaigns.
• Prepare pipe laying campaigns ahead of installation.
• Supervise pipe laying campaigns and ensure commissioning and start-up.

Perenco Projects service aims at providing subsidiaries with assistance in realizing special projects. For this activity we are looking for a Field Engineer to supervise offshore pipelines installation projects.

Location: all over Perenco subsidiaries

According to security standards, the job will consist in:

• Pipe laying campaign preparation ahead of installation campaign,
• Pipe laying campaign supervision,
• Commissioning and start up.

Skills/education

• Mechanical engineer with field work experience,

Languages

• English fluently spoken mandatory.
