Description du poste

We are looking for a Field/Methods Engineer (M/F) for one of our clients. The key requirements and responsibilities are as follows:

Languages:
  • English and fluent French
Knowledge:
  • Oil and gas and industrial sector expertise
  • English proficiency: reading, speaking, writing at B2 level
  • Software skills: MS Office, MS Project, SolidWorks (plus)
Know-how:
  • Conducting test campaigns
  • On-site experience in Onshore/Offshore environments (preferred)
  • HSE approach and quality standards
  • Cost and time management
  • Autonomy and leadership qualities
  • Rigor, methodical approach, and practicality

Purpose of the Mission:
  • Prepare equipment for pipe-in-pipe manufacturing and offshore activities
  • Define specifications for the Ranville team based on contract requirements (MTO, planning)
  • Update risk analyses and project documentation (refer to project SDR)
  • Draft and finalize work instructions, including risk assessments
  • Coordinate with the customer for equipment integration at the production site
  • Lead the Ranville project team during execution
  • Prepare detailed packing lists, spares, and maintenance plans
  • Manage logistics and export of equipment for smooth material return
  • Report progress, challenges, and opportunities accurately
Equipment Testing and Qualification:
  • Draft procedures and FAT reports (including ITS)
  • Support quality control documentation
  • Organize tests at Ranville with project management support
  • Participate in testing at customer or supplier sites
  • Report on testing progress and issues
Qualification Operations:
  • Develop qualification plans for vacuum sealing operations
  • Participate in training on vacuum sealing procedures
Onshore and Offshore Activities at Vigra, Norway:
  • Ensure safety and quality at the customer site
  • Implement procedures during spooling phases (drilling, vacuuming)
  • Prepare Daily Progress Reports
Diverse:

This position is based in Ranville (14th arrondissement), with 1-2 teleworking days per week. Travel to suppliers in France and abroad, including a 2-month assignment at the customer’s site in Norway, is expected.
