Alta Ares, a France-based defense tech company, is seeking a Logistics Manager to own the full logistics function from stock management to deployment of systems in the field. You will ensure right equipment is in the right place at the right time, in perfect condition and compliant with regulations for drone airframes, C-UAS systems, and dual-use gear.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in logistics or operations with defense exposure.
• Experience with shipments, customs clearance, and freight coordination.
• Familiarity with AECA / CIEEMG export controls is a strong plus.
• Experience supporting field deployments at military sites is valued.

Responsabilités

• Own inventory end-to-end: airframes, embedded systems, sensors, payloads.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and airworthiness checks.
• Plan and execute shipments primarily in France/Europe; some international.
• Ensure export licenses and end-user documentation.
• Manage on-site deployment logistics during demonstrations and exercises.
• Build relationships with logistics partners and negotiate rates.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for defense shipments.
