North Wind Site Services is seeking a Geologist/Environmental Scientist to conduct field investigations and data collection for site characterization and remediation projects in New Mexico. You will analyze sources, nature, and risk of contaminants in air, water, and soil, applying geology, biology, and engineering principles.
Responsibilities include collecting samples, documenting in situ data, and assisting with field operations such as Direct Push Technology and drilling oversight, plus data
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology or related field.
- Hands-on experience with environmental field work for site characterization/remediation.
- Knowledge of soil vapor, groundwater contaminants and SOPs for investigation/CA.
Responsabilités
- Collect data and samples following approved procedures.
- Document soil, air, and water samples to determine contaminants.
- Prepare samples for testing and log daily activities.
- Oversee Direct Push Technology, Hollow Stem Auger, and Roto-Sonic drilling.
- Manage data and documentation; support project execution.
