We are seeking a Field Excellence Leader to lead seed production initiatives, focusing on best practices through research and innovation. This role will drive standardization and improve effectiveness regionally and with the Global Field Excellence Team.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead the Europe Agronomy Team to enhance seed production practices for better yield, quality, and reliability.
2. Provide expertise in agronomy seed production, offering guidance, leadership, and training to improve results.
3. Identify and lead projects to increase yield and reliability of seed production.
4. Visit production sites in Europe to identify improvements and coach teams.
5. Collaborate with Digital Agronomy, Production Research, Seed Productivity, Operations, and Field Excellence Leads to implement best practices.
6. Develop educational programs and tools to improve field selection and grower productivity.
7. Coordinate with Europe leadership and Global Field Excellence Leadership to align priorities.
8. Foster an innovative culture and act as a change agent in Europe.
9. Standardize and support operational procedures across Europe.
10. Lead conferences such as the Europe Agronomy Conference.
11. Enhance data quality and organize data for decision-making.
12. Support hiring and onboarding of agronomists.

Qualifications

What Skills You Need:

• BSc or MSc in agribusiness, agronomy, or related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in field production
• Experience in corn seed production preferred
• Proven trainer and facilitator skills
• Strong coaching and communication abilities
• Facilitation skills for training and workshops
• Knowledge of Business Improvement and Continuous Improvement tools (Six Sigma/Lean)
• Ability to manage multiple activities and handle conflict, ambiguity, and complexity
• Motivate and develop teams for high performance
