Job Description

As a member of the global Teledyne e2v Semiconductors Sales Team, this role primarily involves conducting technical sales activities to support the division's growth in the EMEA region.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Promoting the full product portfolio to existing and prospective clients.
  2. Achieving design-in and design-win targets.
  3. Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  4. Providing first-level technical support to current customers.
  5. Discovering new markets and applications.
  6. Creating technical sales materials and training channel partners and clients.
  7. Writing and presenting technical papers at industry events.

Business development and technical sales support (pre- and post-sales):

  1. Promoting products with a solution-oriented value proposition.
  2. Collaborating with sales, channel partners, and marketing to identify and secure new design activities.
  3. Monitoring and tracking opportunities in CRM systems.
  4. Executing sales campaigns for new product launches.
  5. Conducting product demonstrations to engineering teams.
  6. Providing post-sales support during development and integration.
  7. Gathering customer feedback to influence product development.

Collateral development and conference participation:

  1. Developing application notes, white papers, and sales collateral.
  2. Presenting technical papers at conferences and webinars.

Technical training for channels and customers:

  1. Providing regular training on new products and benefits.
  2. Supporting the development of technological capabilities among end-users.

Knowledge sharing, learning, and development:

  1. Staying informed about industry trends.
  2. Contributing to team learning and knowledge building.

Qualifications and experience:

  1. Degree in Science or Engineering.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in engineering, application engineering, or technical sales support.
  3. Experience with microprocessors, data converters, RF products is advantageous.
  4. Understanding of markets like aerospace, defense, testing, or telecommunications is a plus.

Communication skills:

  1. Strong listening, probing, and analytical skills.
  2. Excellent presentation skills, capable of engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Ability to work across cultures and regions.
  4. Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Mobility:

The role involves extensive travel within the region and to Teledyne locations globally, especially to Grenoble, France.
