We are looking for an Applications Engineer, based in Grenoble (FR) or Agrate (IT), to support our European customers, develop new Best Known Methods (BKM’s), increase product adoption, lead project activities at customer sites, and drive pre-sales and post-sales activities for our overlay measurement platform.

Major Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA overlay products at European customer fabrication facilities.
• Make presentations on all aspects of products and provide customer training.
• Drive product adoption at customer sites.
• Collaborate closely with the overlay divisional team and local Business Unit to achieve KLA business goals.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in optical metrology is a benefit.
• Understanding of statistical analysis to derive significant results.
• Creative thinking to address new customer challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Materials Science, Physics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French or Italian is a plus.
• 3 years of semiconductor IC fabrication experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of statistical software (e.g., JMP) is a plus.
• Valid driving license.
