Job Description:

This exciting start-up based in the south of France is looking for a Field Application Engineer to join their growing Application Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, flexible, and customer-focused.

You should have a strong electronics/semiconductor background with at least 3 years of experience in digital circuit design and RTL coding. You will work closely with customers to support all technical aspects of innovative technology.

The position is based in the South of France, with a preference for candidates who can commute to the office, as collaboration with R&D teams is essential. Global travel will also be required, typically between 25%-50% of your time.

This role offers significant growth opportunities and the chance to work on cutting-edge semiconductor products within a rapidly expanding company.

Field Application Engineer Requirements:

• Master's Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in RTL coding using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
• Experience with ASIC implementation and a good understanding of EDA flow
• FPGA experience is a plus
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel across Europe and occasionally worldwide
