The team works collaboratively with product managers, product owners, validation engineers, and technical support to bring innovative simulation features to life. About the Role

As a Developer in a Finite Element Software for Sheet Metal Forming , you will contribute to the enhancement of software dedicated to stamping and forming processes. Your role focuses on designing and implementing new FEM-based simulation features and models for thermomechanical behaviors. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the tool's precision and industrial applicability.

Responsibilities

The Finite Element Software Developer - Sheet Metal Forming contributes to the development of software dedicated to stamping and forming processes. He is a specialist of the Finite Element Method (FEM).

  • Develop advanced simulation features for metal stamping processes.
  • Implement thermomechanical modeling, numerical schemes, and FEM capabilities.
  • Maintain and debug existing codebases (FORTRAN90, C).
  • Collaborate with technical support to resolve customer issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including product management and validation.
  • Contribute to continuous performance optimization and software robustness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in structural mechanics or applied mathematics with a focus on numerical simulation.
  • Industrial experience developing FEM software.
  • Strong expertise in structural mechanics, FEM, numerical methods, and Thermomechanical modeling.
  • Proficient in FORTRAN 90 and C programming.
  • Fluent in English
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC).
  • Familiarity with MPI (Message Passing Interface).
  • Practical knowledge or exposure to metal stamping processes.
  • Autonomous work style and strong team spirit are highly valued.
