Description du poste

JasiaStyleshop is a Texas‑based apparel brand delivering bold, sophisticated designs for conscious women who value quality, timeless aesthetics, and an active lifestyle. Our inaugural capsule features 12 knitwear‑driven styles—including mini & maxi dresses, sleeveless polos, flare separates, and more. We value aesthetics above all, infinite quality, personal authenticity, confident femininity, customer‑centricity, and sustainable decisions—and we welcome applicants who share these principles.

Role Description

JasiaStyleshop is seeking an experienced Fashion Designer to transform our creative direction into production‑ready garments. The designer will lead pattern development, grading, technical documentation, fabric selection, and sampling to ensure each style meets brand, fit, and sustainability standards. We are looking for a talented creative partner whose technical expertise and industry insight can help bring our brand to market at the uncompromising standard we set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert mood boards and preliminary sketches into finalised design concepts.
  • Develop and grade patterns for 12 styles across sizes XS–XL.
  • Prepare comprehensive tech packs (flat sketches, graded specifications, BOM, construction notes, labeling / packaging details).
  • Source and recommend fabrics & yarns that balance hand‑feel, durability, sustainability, and minimum‑order quantities.
  • Manage 1–2 fit / sample rounds

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in women’s fashion design; solid knitwear expertise strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with design and pattern software such as CLO 3D, Gerber, Optitex, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to take garments from concept through to bulk production.
  • Strong understanding of knit gauges, stitches, and fabric performance characteristics.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate with remote teams and local factories.
  • Availability during U.S. Central Time business hours; Texas residence a plus but not required.
  • Portfolio (PDF or link) showcasing garments taken from sketch to production—applications without an attached portfolio will not be considered.
  • Contract type : Project‑based B2B agreement covering creation of the inaugural capsule collection, with strong potential for re‑hire on subsequent drops.
  • Project start : July2025
  • Compensation : Per style or fixed price per project, commensurate with experience and final scope (milestone‑based payments available).

We look forward to reviewing your application and potentially collaborating on a collection that women will live in for seasons to come.
