FAP012: Strategic Business Development Executive - Aerospace

The Global SME (Subject Matter Expert) Engine is responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of the engine transport solution. This role ensures operational excellence by functionally overseeing Engine Competence Centers (ECCs), driving process standardization, fostering strategic partnerships, and leveraging digital tools for efficiency. Additionally, the role supports global operations and sales with expert guidance, training, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Functional Management of Engine Competence Centers (ECCs)
   • Functionally oversee all ECCs, ensuring standardized processes, service quality, and operational efficiency.
   • Define competence frameworks, monitor performance, and support ECC staff development.
   • Monitor KPIs via Power BI dashboards.
2. Project Leadership & Process Standardization
   • Lead the design and continuous improvement of global engine transport solutions.
   • Develop and enforce SOPs and Work Instructions for ECCs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
3. Strategic Partnerships & Service Expansion
   • Establish and manage partnerships with cargo airlines to enhance capacity, cost efficiency, and service levels.
4. Digital Transformation & Automation
   • Develop tools for quoting, operations, and workflow automation to enhance efficiency.
   • Maintain an online engine catalog for improved service visibility.
5. Sales & Operational Support
   • Provide expert support to both sales and operations, assisting with pricing, issue resolution, and data-driven decision-making.
6. Global Training & Solution Promotion
   • Conduct internal training sessions and create marketing materials to promote engine solutions.
7. Financial & Market Analysis
   • Analyze trends, costs, and business opportunities to improve pricing models and investment decisions.

Key Qualifications & Competencies:

• Extensive experience in aircraft engines, including handling, shipping, and regulatory requirements.
• Functional leadership experience, overseeing multi-location operations.
• Deep knowledge of transport & logistics, particularly in oversized, high-value cargo.
• Strong project management and process standardization skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, KPI tracking (Power BI), and automation.
• Experience in building strategic partnerships with airlines and logistics providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
