We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intern Data Analyst to join our Amazon Sales Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our Amazon marketplace performance. The role will support data-driven decision-making to optimize sales, inventory, pricing, marketing campaigns, and customer insights.

Responsibilities

  • Amazon Sales Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales trends, revenue performance, and conversion rates to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer behavior, reviews, and feedback to understand trends and improve product offerings.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Analytics: Track stock levels, sales velocity, and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Advertising & Marketing Analysis: Evaluate the performance of Amazon PPC campaigns, Sponsored Ads, and external traffic sources to maximize ROI.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and sales trends to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Pricing Strategy: Analyze pricing trends and elasticity to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
  • Amazon Algorithm & SEO Optimization: Use data to improve product listings, keywords, and rankings on Amazon search results.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Conduct tests to optimize pricing, ad spend, and listing content.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and operations teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in a data analysis role, preferably within an e-commerce or Amazon-based business will be a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Macros, PT, Data Model), Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and insights effectively.
  • Understanding of Smart Home product trends and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Amazon Brand Analytics, and third-party Amazon analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataHawk) will be a plus.
  • Professional level of English and good understanding of French is required.
