Job description

The responsible of Export Controls and Economic Sanctions Compliance will be primarily responsible for regulatory compliance in these topics for all of the Stellantis subsidiaries in Enlarged Europe. This will entail keeping up to date with the rapidly developing regulatory changes in the field; designing and implementing controls to ensure that the regulatory changes are integrated into business processes in controls that effectively ensure compliance; publishing the “white list” of products approved for trade with restricted countries; and developing communication channels with primary stakeholders. Secondary responsibilities will include becoming familiar with emerging regulations in the field for countries outside of Enlarged Europe but that may affect Enlarged Europe.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of EU and UK regulations regarding Export Controls and Economic Sanctions
• Experience with European Harmonized System product classification codes.
• Experience with U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule product classification desirable but not required.
• Experience with EU and UK Russia Sanctions compliance.
• Experience dealing with government authorities in regulatory matters.
• English fluency is not required but English proficiency is necessary.
• Proficiency in the creation of presentations and reports
• Ability to prioritize and manage urgent projects, delivering high quality deliverables.
• Excellent communicator.
