Job Description:

We are looking for an Export Control Directives and Methods Manager H/F for our Commercial Aircraft business to join our Export Control Programme Office based in Toulouse, France.

The Export Control Programme Office is responsible for ensuring that the key elements of the Export Control compliance program are effective, reflect changing laws and regulations, and align with Airbus's overall export control strategy.

The “Export Control Directives and Methods Manager” plays a key role in ensuring this objective is implemented coherently and pragmatically across the Group.

Your role will be to lead the export control Directives and Methods and related documents (operational guides, policies, etc.), ensure their updates, and cascade them group-wide to maintain effective export control compliance.

Your main activities will include:

  • Managing the drafting and ongoing enhancement of Export Control Directives and Methods from various regulatory perspectives.
  • Monitoring lifecycle improvements of these directives to incorporate regulatory changes, stakeholder recommendations, internal controls, and operational needs.
  • Driving the dissemination of requirements within the Airbus Business Management System (BMS) and organizational processes.
  • Leading the Change Control Board for Directives and Methods, reviewing updates, and ensuring compliance with evolving requirements.
  • Leading the Policy Task Force to support business deployment of directives and methods, updating wording as needed.
  • Supporting export control compliance programs and teams with training, digitalization, investigations, controls, and risk management.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Solid knowledge of EU and US export control regulations.
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and travel internationally.
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and team-focused approach.
  • Fluent in English; French, German, or Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a multinational industrial environment with export control activities.
  • Master's Degree.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset.

This position may require security clearance and a commitment to compliance and integrity.
