Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Design and Accessibility Lead to join the EcoStruxure Platform team within Schneider Digital.

Our mission is to advance the EcoStruxure platform, which serves as the foundation for Schneider Electric’s digital products, encompassing software, strategy, and business. The UX/UI Design team is dedicated to creating experiences around the platform, with a specific focus on developer experience, platform, and device management. Additionally, the team has a mandate to drive and influence progress in digital accessibility across the company.

As a UX/UI Designer and Accessibility Lead at Schneider Electric, you will play a pivotal role in placing the user at the heart of decision-making, elevating the quality and accessibility of digital products, and establishing UX as a core competency for the company.

We are in search of passionate Designers who are eager to learn, adept at navigating complexity, and enthusiastic about shaping Schneider Electric's digital future alongside us.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Design: Design solutions and experiences from discovery to delivery, integrated with product development sprints and phases (e.g., user flows, pixel-perfect prototypes, and information architectures).
  • Accessibility Advocacy: Evangelize and empower product teams to design with accessibility in mind through knowledge sharing, tools, and accountability.
  • Program Management: Assist in building and managing a global governance structure and processes for digital accessibility.
  • User Research: Prepare, conduct, analyze, synthesize, and share user research to guide decisions.
  • Leadership: Define and influence the strategic direction of products and digital accessibility, while autonomously guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Your profile:

  • +6 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, preferably with technical or B2B applications.
  • Master’s degree from a Design school, or possess equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field of digital accessibility.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in prototyping with Figma and ideally familiar with other tools such as Dovetail or Maze.
  • Problem-solving mindset and have a grasp of technical issues and dependencies.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to simplicity.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Enthusiastic, humble, and compassionate.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Capable of working independently and possess a spirit of initiative.
