Within the Corporate Digital Finance department, the ERP Finance Functional Expert is responsible for the quality and functional integrity of the Finance application. This includes the design, run (operations), and build (development) of improvements and custom features. The Expert ensures that the applications evolve to meet changing business needs and corporate functions, in line with Accor standards, and supports the full product lifecycle according to the tools roadmap.

Your missions and responsibilities :

RUN:

  • Maintain accounting systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage integrations and ensure system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
  • Ensure the platform complies with Security and Privacy policies (including GDPR).
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Supervise Level 1 tasks and ensure compliance with business response standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues in testing and production environments.
  • Handle fixes, configuration issues, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Manage complex tickets raised by key users and business partners.

BUILD:

  • Analyze and estimate workload and complexity of business requests.
  • Oversee the implementation of standard functionalities.
  • Collaborate with business Product Owners and other stakeholders to ensure continuous alignment with strategic goals during execution.
  • Design, implement, and deploy improvements to accounting systems.
  • Define and document detailed business requirements.
  • Keep the Product Owner informed on planning and delivery status.
  • Lead functional discussions and develop plans to improve tool quality, system design, and business processes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues in testing and production environments.
  • Oversee monthly closing processes and ensure timely completion of related tasks.
Qualifications

And you?

Background & Expertise:

  • Degree from an engineering school or business school.
  • Proven experience in maintaining a portfolio of applications supporting financial processes (performance, security, functionality, availability) and accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, consolidation, reporting, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience required.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Delivery-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite for Finance.
