NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share.

This is a highly regarded client — they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have ambitious growth plans! I have worked with many clients, but this one always leaves a great impression on candidates, even those who are successful in the process. I have placed two developers there — both have stayed over 4 years and are still employed.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

You?:

• A lover of the RoR stack — ideally with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Strong English skills — written and verbal — must be proficient to work in this language
• Ability to work French hours, +/- 2 hours

Interview Process:

1. Meet with EM/CTO — discuss the role, company, background, and experience
2. Technical coding challenge
3. Review feedback on the technical challenge and meet wider team members
