Job Description:

NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE

The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France with a significant market share. This client is highly regarded for their efficient work culture, avoiding pointless meetings, and focusing on fixing issues rather than covering cracks. They have ambitious growth plans. I have placed two developers there who have stayed over four years, and they remain part of the team.

The Role:

• Greenfield development
• Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
• Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
• PostgreSQL database and mobile apps

Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about the RoR stack with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
• Able to work French hours with a +/- 2-hour flexibility

Interview Process:

• Meet with Engineering Manager/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your experience
• Complete a technical coding challenge
• Discuss feedback and meet other team members
