Job summary

BBVA in Paris is seeking a senior Cash Management executive to define and execute the French Cash Management Strategic Plan, build the local team, and lead client coverage across Corporate and Institutional clients.

You will coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Implementation, Client Service, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Finance, and drive development of the local product proposition while monitoring performance.

Qualifications

• International Banking Experience: 10–15 years in Cash Management / Transaction Banking at a leading international bank.
• Strong network across French Corporates, Financial Institutions, Treasury Centers and the broader treasury ecosystem.
• Experience managing projects is highly valued.
• Cash Management Product Expertise: knowledge of Accounts, Payments, Collections and Liquidity Management; connectivity solutions incl APIs, Host-to-Host, SWIFT and ERP/TMS integration; liquidity solutions.
• Commercial & Client Coverage: track record selling sophisticated Cash Management solutions to Corporate/Institutional clients; engage CFOs; experience leading RFPs; pipeline, pricing, negotiation and conversion.

• Establish commercial targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate closely with CIB Bankers and embed Cash Management into their commercial routines.
• Represent France within the Global Cash Management organization.
• Coordinate Product, Implementation, Client Service, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Finance.
• Drive the development of the local product proposition.
• Identify strategic partnerships where appropriate.
• Monitor revenues, balances & deposits, transaction volumes, profitability and budget execution.

We are looking for a senior Cash Management professional with 10/15 years of experience within leading international banks, combining strong product expertise with a proven commercial track record in the French Corporate and Institutional market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling BBVA's local Cash Management franchise in France while continuing to accelerate Inbound and Outbound business across BBVA's global network. The role requires deep expertise across Payments, Collections, Liquidity Management and Connectivity, together with strong client relationships, product development experience, commercial leadership and the ability to operate effectively across a complex international organization.

Requirements

International Banking Experience Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Cash Management / Transaction Banking within a leading international bank. Strong understanding of the French Corporate, Institutional and Transaction Banking market. Experience working within international and matrix organizations. Strong network across French Corporates, Financial Institutions, Treasury Centers and the broader treasury ecosystem. Experience in management of projects will be highly valued.

Cash Management Product Expertise Deep knowledge of Accounts, Payments, Collections and Liquidity Management. Strong understanding of the French and European payments environment and relevant domestic payment infrastructure. Experience with connectivity solutions including APIs, Host-to-Host, SWIFT and ERP/TMS integration, and local bank agnostic platforms. Knowledge of international liquidity solutions, including Cash Pooling, intercompany payments and cash forecasting. Experience identifying product gaps and working with Product and Engineering teams to develop new capabilities,and translating client needs into commercial product priorities.

Commercial & Client Coverage Proven track record in selling sophisticated Cash Management solutions to Corporate and Institutional clients. Ability to engage credibly with CFOs, Group Treasurers, Treasury Centers and senior finance executives. Experience leading RFPs and complex regional/global Cash Management mandates. Strong capabilities in pipeline management, pricing, negotiation and conversion.
