  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is advantageous.

The Revenue Operations Solution Center is a globally organized pre-sales deal support group of experts whose mission is to provide ultimate expertise to focus on customer’s business requirements and help win sales opportunities or accelerate cloud consumption.

Using the RevOps Solution Center, customers can architect, customize, and test their solutions with Oracle Cloud, Cloud@Customer, On-Premises systems, and Hybrid and Multi-Cloud scenarios in a secure, scalable, and interoperable environment for all deployment models.

If you are interested in highly technical hands-on challenges and delivering the following customer-facing activities with real-life scenarios:

  • Demonstrate the strength and credibility of Oracle's Core Technology, Data Integration, Cloud, and Engineered Systems products and solutions
  • Engage with customers and position Oracle's strategic propositions through technical presentations, whiteboard/round table discussions, hands-on technical workshops, and Proof of Concepts or performance tests

This job is for you.

As a Principal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for formulating and leading pre-sales technical/functional support activities for prospective clients and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction. You will serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focus will be on large or complex sales opportunities requiring creative and complex solutions. You will develop productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants, deliver presentations and demonstrations, lead technical sales processes, and advise clients on architectural solutions.

Design, build, and deliver customer demonstrations and technology workshops to articulate, update, and evangelize Oracle-based technical and product solutions.

  • Participate in or lead customer-specific Proof of Concepts or performance tests
  • Articulate the credibility of Oracle's Core Technology, Cloud, and Engineered Systems products and solutions, from technical to board level, focusing on key decision-makers
  • Deliver interactively without a pre-defined script, answering questions and demonstrating solutions
  • Understand the competitive landscape and recognize opportunities to up-sell based on product expertise
  • Have a thorough understanding of relevant Technical Architectures and their applicability to Oracle's customers, including advantages and disadvantages
  • Liaise with the Oracle ecosystem: Account Teams, Sales Consulting, Product teams, and contribute to community and cross-team cooperation

Experience & Expertise Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of Oracle core Database & Options knowledge, including Real Application Clusters, Partitioning, Data Guard, Multi-tenant, Security, Clusterware, and related skills

Hands-on experience with Exadata Database Machine installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning in on-premises, Cloud@Customer, OCI, Hybrid, and Multi-Cloud deployments.

  • At least 2 years of experience with Oracle’s cloud offerings, including IaaS & PaaS
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is advantageous
  • Experience in selling and positioning Oracle offerings
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels
  • Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills

The technical skills listed above should be gained in a front-line customer-facing role such as Sales Consulting, Consulting, or Advanced Customer Services.

This is a hybrid/office-based role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Language

For UK: Fluent English; second EMEA language is a plus.

For France, Germany, Poland, Romania, UAE: Fluent in local language and English.
