Description du poste

Create Lasting Memories by the Sea

Looking for more than just a job? How about a role where every day you help create unforgettable moments — from dream weddings to impactful conferences — all while working in a sea view office, surrounded by a friendly, vibrant team?

At The Scarlet and Bedruthan Hotels, we don’t simply host events — we craft lasting memories. Whether you’re helping a couple plan their special day or collaborating with a conference organiser, your role is all about building meaningful relationships and delivering seamless, bespoke experiences that guests remember for all the right reasons.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

As part of our dynamic Sales & Reservations team, you’ll be at the heart of our hotels' guest journey. You’ll be a trusted advisor from the very first conversation, listening closely, understanding what matters most, and guiding guests with confidence and care.

We’re a fast-paced, people-first team who enjoy what we do, celebrate our successes and genuinely love working together. You’ll be part of a business that values creativity, warmth, and hospitality that goes above and beyond.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

Connects easily and authentically with people and loves building rapport with guests — whether it’s a wedding couple, a business client, or a local partner.

Thrives in a fast-moving environment, solving problems quickly and staying calm under pressure.

Loves sales and gets excited about hitting targets, upselling creatively, and closing deals with warmth and professionalism.

Is passionate about hospitality and creating flawless event experiences from the first enquiry to the final farewell.

What You’ll Be Doing

Acting as the first point of contact for event enquiries — via phone, email, and in person.

Building strong relationships with guests and understanding their event needs in detail.

Confidently selling and upselling our venue, packages, and services.

Conducting show rounds and guiding clients through every stage of the booking process.

Drafting proposals, managing contracts and deposits, and ensuring all administrative details are accurate and timely.

Hitting sales targets while delivering a service that’s warm, personal, and reflective of our brand.

Collaborating across departments to hand over confirmed events and support smooth delivery.

Gathering post-event feedback and securing repeat business when possible.

Keeping up with industry trends, competitor research, and new lead development.

About The Role

Full-time (40 hours over 5 days), with part-time hours considered for the right candidate

Shift patterns fall between 8:00am–6:30pm, Monday–Sunday — weekend availability required

This is an on-site position

What You’ll Bring

Great communication skills — written and spoken.

A confident, friendly telephone manner.

A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.

Sales experience (events, reservations or hospitality preferred, but not essential).

A team-first attitude, with the ability to self-motivate and adapt.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with booking systems (but we’ll train you if not!)

A passion for weddings, corporate events, or creative experiences.

An interest in sustainable hospitality or independent businesses.
