Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Long Term Care unit in Newark, NY. The role supports the nursing team by delivering high-quality patient care, following care plans, and documenting observations during evening shifts.

This full-time position requires NY CNA certification, 18+ years old, and strong communication. Work hours are 2pm-10pm, every other weekend, with a 37.5-hour week. Competitive pay and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsabilités

• Patient Care & Service: Provide and/or assist the resident in activities necessary as per individualized care planning; transport to and from activities as needed; provide leisure activities as needed; perform evaluation and reporting; provide resident and family with emotional support
• Safety: Assist in maintaining a clean and safe resident environment
• Communication & Documentation: Support families, direct them to appropriate professional staff; respond to resident requests in a timely manner; receive/give reports to team members/team leaders
