Position Overview
To support continued growth across Europe, our client is seeking a European Sales Director to lead their commercial strategy and drive revenue across key markets.
This senior role is responsible for managing regional sales teams across four countries, developing strategic relationships, and identifying growth opportunities in both existing and new markets.
The position is remote-based and involves significant travel across Europe and regular visits to the UK head office for team collaboration and board reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the European sales strategy in alignment with the marketing department.
  • Drive business growth across all countries and customer segments by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a multi-country sales team to achieve their targets through coaching, guidance, and performance management.
  • Analyse market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention initiatives to strengthen market presence.
  • Oversee the customer service function to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients at a senior level, establishing long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals.
  • Provide monthly board-level reports, analysing performance metrics, sales trends, and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior commercial role.
  • Proven success in leading international B2B sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to execute strategic plans effectively.
  • Fluency in English, French, and German (minimum B2 level required).
  • Full, clean driving licence and valid passport (required for UK travel).
  • Experience in the commercial vehicle accessories sector would be an advantage.
