Locala is seeking a Head of Trading to lead the European trading team, driving performance and standards across multiple markets. This role blends hands-on trading (60%), team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver results for Tier 1 clients.

You will manage hiring, coaching, and resource allocation, while establishing best practices, QA processes, and a data-driven trading approach. English and French proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience on a trading desk
• 3+ years of team leadership/management in programmatic digital advertising
• International experience is a plus
• Track record of establishing and scaling trading best practices across multiple markets
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the European trading team with priorities, guidance and mentorship
• Own team development: hiring, coaching, performance management and career-pathing
• Allocate trading resources across countries according to workload and priorities
• Ensure outputs of the trading department across all business units (countries)
• Execute campaign setup across platforms, monitor performance, and optimize strategies (60%)
• Establish and deploy best practices across setup, QA, troubleshooting and reporting
• Drive testing and experimentation across DSPs and partner platforms
• Contribute to improving internal monitoring and reporting suite
• Manage relationships with external partners and collaborate with CS/Account Managers to align trading strategies
• Feed insights back into product and roadmap discussions
• Stay current on industry trends and platform updates
