Sephora, part of the LVMH Group, is seeking an International Accounts Payable Accountant for an 18-month fixed-term contract at our European accounting hub in Saran, France. The role focuses on managing payables for multiple European subsidiaries, fixed assets, and monthly closings within a dynamic transformation program.

The candidate should have a degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration with 3+ years of related experience, strong Excel skills, SAP knowledge, and English

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Strong Excel skills (advanced functions).
• Interest in digital technologies and emerging AI applications within Finance.
• Ability to handle written communications in English with suppliers and international stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage and monitor the accounts payable ledger for several European subsidiaries within the European Accounting Department based in Saran, France.
• Review and post Direct Purchasing and Capital Expenditure supplier invoices, monitor approval workflows, follow up on supplier disputes, review and control payment runs, monitor supplier reconciliations.
• Manage fixed assets accounting: validate purchase requisitions, create fixed asset master records in SAP, process capex invoices, asset capitalization, monitor asset movements, participate in closing.
• Ensure monthly closing activities: monitor accruals, review balances of related accounts.
• Ensure supplier account accuracy: analyze supplier accounts, handle supplier requests, resolve discrepancies.
• Contribute to transformation and digitalization of processes: deployment of automation solutions.
