Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in France is seeking a Director of Sustainability Europe to lead the integration of ESG strategy across the Transit business and European operations. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Sustainability, you will translate regulations, engage senior leaders, and shape disclosures, governance, and performance metrics to drive sustainable growth.

This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing sustainability programs in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GRI, ISSB, TCFD and related standards.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and operate in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ESG reporting and regulatory support across Europe.
• Lead sustainability strategy and cross-functional execution within Transit and European ops.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet ESG disclosures and governance needs.
• Represent the company in sustainability forums and stakeholder engagements.
