Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Director of Sustainability Europe to lead ESG reporting and strategic initiatives across the Transit business and European operations. You will translate evolving regulations and customer requirements into actionable business strategies while influencing senior leaders and engaging stakeholders.

This role demands deep expertise in ESG frameworks, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive sustainable growth across France and Italy locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
• 8+ years in sustainability, ESG, environmental management or related disciplines.
• Experience in multinational industrial/manufacturing/transportation or technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CSRD/ESRS/EU Taxonomy and related disclosures.
• Lead Sustainability strategy across Transit and European operations.
• Advise leadership and translate regulations into practical actions.
• Engage customers, procurement, and stakeholders on ESG inquiries.
