Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane, France, seeks a Transmission System Stress Engineer to join the Design Office. You will act as the technical authority ensuring dynamic systems withstand extreme flight envelopes from H160 to Racer, and defend substantiation documents to aviation authorities.

You will define and follow flight and lab tests to validate Samcef models, while evolving calculation methods for future rotorcraft. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of mechanical analysis experience (metallic materials, RDM, static & fatigue).
• Proven experience with FEM (Samcef) for static and fatigue analysis.
• Knowledge of crack propagation or fatigue testing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and validate transmission system analyses and substantiation documents.
• Coordinate flight and lab tests to correlate Samcef models.
• Lead calculation methodology improvements for next-gen rotorcraft.
