This is an exciting opportunity for a Certification and Qualification Engineer (CQE) for H160M HIL at Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. You will join the Initial Airworthiness Department within the H160 CQE team.
The main role of the Certification Engineer is to demonstrate compliance with airworthiness requirements (CS29) for new designs and types. You will also lead activities to ensure the safe flight capability of helicopters during certification flight tests.
This role involves collaboration across various internal teams and with external authorities like EASA and DGA, providing a comprehensive overview of Airbus Helicopters' products and processes.
You will work on the latest Airbus Helicopters products, focusing on inboard and outboard optional systems, and interact with DGA and EASA authorities, especially for the H160M project, which involves certification by both agencies.
Responsibilities include understanding project details, establishing certification programs, identifying compliance requirements, and leading compliance demonstrations, especially for design changes classified as minor or major.
