A vacancy for a Weapon System Design Responsible (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.
Within Airbus Helicopters System Division, you will join the “Weapon and Electronic Warfare System” department.
You will be involved in the design of the core weapon systems for militarized helicopters.

Your challenges
Your main responsibilities will include:

• Writing of the functional specification (with DOORS) and the interfaces specification, using dedicated tools (Easynet Designer, ...).
• Writing the detailed design description with the allocation of requirements to the design items in close collaboration with the software team.
• Problem report management (using MANTIS) and corrective actions (specification update, interface update, software modifications,...).
• Support to software tests and integration tests.
• Support to qualification/certification activities.
• Support to firing campaigns.

Your profile:
You will have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• First experience in system engineering.
• Experience in the weapons systems (preferred).
• Knowledge in bus protocols.
• Service-mindedness, problem-solving mindset, autonomous, team spirit.
• English, French: Advanced level.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
