Qualifications

  • Experience in navigation systems design (ideally > 5 years).

We have multiple developments planned, so we need you...now!You will join the Navigation systems design office team that is responsible for the design, development, integration and certification of Navigation Systems on all Airbus Helicopters platforms. Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.*Your challenges*As a System Design Responsible you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that cover the full product lifecycle including specification, development, modification, in-service support and research.In particular, you will focus on development of new air data and inertial systems.These tasks can include:- Specifying new functions or equipment for future developments-Participating to tendering phases and supplier selection as Engineering representative- Specifying and managing projects, development activities, Verification & Validation activities (including laboratory, ground & flight test).-Supplier management as AH technical voice- Supporting all related safety & certification activitiesYou will therefore have a large and rewarding number of interfaces including major multi-national suppliers, other system teams, bench and flight test teams, civil and military helicopters programs, safety, certification, airworthiness, customer support, etc. This requires your ability to work and prioritize flexibly as part of large transnational teams.
